Six clusters, because owners arrive with one kind of question at a time

A single long list of questions is easy to publish and hard to use. Somebody trying to work out whether a deposit is required does not want to scroll past nine questions about roof membranes to find it. The questions here are therefore grouped by the situation that produces them, and each group has its own page with a written introduction rather than a bare list.

Pricing and billing covers rates, materials, markup, deposits and how a published range becomes an authorized number. Turnaround and scheduling covers how long work takes, what determines a band and why parts rather than labor usually control the calendar. Insurance claims covers documentation, supplements, deductibles, betterment and what happens when a carrier and an estimator disagree.

Vehicles and scope covers what the shop works on and, just as usefully, what it does not. That page states plainly that engine rebuilds, transmission rebuilds, drivetrain work, official inspections and emission testing are outside the scope of this building, because an owner learning that on arrival has wasted a morning and a tow.

Getting here from Eastvale covers the route, the drive time, what to bring, how drop off works and which steps can be handled without a second trip. Process and quality covers what happens between drop off and pickup, including teardown, supplements, water testing and the delivery walk.

If a question does not appear anywhere in the six clusters, it is usually because the honest answer depends on the specific vehicle. Those are worth asking directly rather than reading about.

The questions that arrive first

These are the ones that come up before anything else, usually on a first call or a first visit. They are answered in full here rather than summarized, so a reader who only reads this section still leaves with something usable.

01What does OCRV Center do?
Body, paint, structural, fiberglass, interior, and systems repair on recreational vehicles and commercial units. Motorhomes in all three classes, towables of every kind, camper vans, cargo and passenger vans, box trucks, fleet vehicles, and specialty builds. The facility runs 35,000 square feet in Yorba Linda and serves owners across Eastvale and the surrounding Inland Empire cities. Everything is performed in shop, from collision repair through full repaints and slide rebuilds.
02Where is the shop and who does it serve?
One building, at 23281 La Palma Ave in Yorba Linda, California. The primary market is Eastvale in Riverside County, roughly twenty miles out by way of SR-71 to SR-91, along with Corona, Norco, Jurupa Valley, Mira Loma, Chino, Chino Hills, and Ontario. There is no second location and no vehicle that travels to owners. Every repair, estimate, and inspection happens at the La Palma Avenue facility during posted hours.
03What does a repair cost?
Labor is posted: $210 per hour for body and paint, $260 for mechanical and electrical, $285 for diagnostics, $95 for detail. Materials, parts, and 7.75 percent sales tax on parts and materials get added on top. A small cosmetic fix might land in the high hundreds. A full repaint on a Class A runs into five figures. The number that matters is the written estimate for your unit, which is what you authorize before work begins.
04How do I get an estimate?
Bring the unit to the shop during business hours. Collision damage estimates are complimentary. RV systems work, meaning slides, awnings, plumbing, house electrical, and generators, carries a $150 estimate fee because a technician has to operate and test the system, and that $150 credits back against an authorized repair. Start by emailing info@ocrvcenter.com with photographs, the make and model of the unit, and a description of what happened.
05What are your hours?
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday, 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Closed Sunday. Saturday runs a lighter crew and is best used for drop offs, pickups, estimate appointments, and progress walkthroughs rather than heavy production. Deliveries by tow operators have to arrive inside those windows, since intake requires a signature and a documented condition walkaround before a unit can be accepted onto the yard.
06Do you handle insurance claims?
Claims are written, submitted, and negotiated here. That covers the original estimate, teardown documentation, supplements for hidden damage, and meeting the adjuster for reinspection when a carrier asks for one. You choose the shop, not the insurer. Your deductible is collected at pickup. If a carrier is named anywhere on this site, it means claims have been handled through that company, not that the shop is affiliated with or endorsed by it.
07How long will my vehicle be in the shop?
It depends on the tier. Minor work finishes in one to two days. Short jobs run three to eight days. Standard collision repair takes two to four weeks. Structural work and full repaints run four to ten weeks. Restorations and heavy commercial builds run ten weeks and up. Parts availability is the dominant variable, not shop capacity, which is why parts are ordered and confirmed before a drop off date is set whenever the damage allows it.
08What kinds of work do you not take on?
Engine rebuilds, transmission rebuilds, and drivetrain internal work fall outside our scope, as do DOT inspections and emission testing. Those belong to shops equipped for them. Anything longer than roughly forty five feet, or a tractor trailer combination, does not fit the bays. Nearly everything else in the recreational and light to medium commercial world is in scope. Send dimensions and a description by email if you are unsure about your unit.
09Do you come to me?
No. All work is in shop. There is no truck that travels to owners, no yard call, and no field repair. That is a deliberate choice rather than a limitation: paint requires booth conditions and controlled cure, structural repair requires fixed anchoring and measuring equipment, and leak verification requires a calibrated spray setup. None of that exists in a driveway. Units that cannot be driven arrive by tow, coordinated in advance by email.
10What do I need to bring when I drop off?
Registration, insurance details with a claim number if one is open, and keys for every lock on the unit including compartments. Bring scene photographs if the damage came from a collision. Take out valuables, medications, and anything perishable before you arrive. Plan a ride home, because there is no loaner fleet and the unit stays once it is signed in. Morning arrivals are easiest, particularly if you are towing a long trailer.
